IMPORTANT:


As part of the pre-onboarding checklist, there are 2 main areas in Xero that needs to be checked and updated, Chart of Accounts and Contacts.

PART 1 - UPDATE CHART OF ACCOUNTS


Outcome -


Make sure every account in your Chart of Account has a code (i.e. no blank code)

PART 2 of 2 - UPDATE CONTACTS


Parakeet relies on your customer contact details in Xero to be accurate before any Invoices or Bills can be automated for payments. 


Please ensure the fields below are correctly populated for all contacts that you would like to automate bills and invoices for.


There are 3 types of contacts:

  1. INVOICES: Customers - 4 compulsory fields
  2. BILLS: Vendor payments via Bank Accounts - 5 compulsory fields
  3. BILLS: BPAY Billers - 3 compulsory fields


Pro tip: If you have a lot of contacts in Xero, you can use the bulk update capability in Xero.  Refer to Xero link: https://central.xero.com/s/article/Edit-multiple-contacts
