Background


  • To disconnect or reset your Parakeet connection - please follow the below steps.

  • Where you are requested to 'RESET' the connection, please disconnect first (as per below) and then follow the reconnection steps here after you have completed the disconnection below.


Disconnection Instructions:


There are 2 steps to disconnect Parakeet from Xero. 


You must complete these 2 steps. 


Step 1: In the Parakeet Portal

  1. Login to your Parakeet Portal

  2. Select 'Settings' on the left menu

  3. Click 'Accounting

  4. Go to the 'Integrations' heading 

  5. Click 'Disconnect from Xero'




Step 2: In Xero

  • Login to Xero

  • Go to organisation settings > Connected Apps



  • Find "Parakeet" 

  • Press "Disconnect"



Your Xero account is now disconnected from Parakeet.
